Your First Visit - What to expect

Prior to Your First Wellpath Clinic Visit - Health Evaluation
Expected length of time: Approximately 45 minutes

When you make your first appointment, your care from Wellpath Clinic begins. You will be provided an online health evaluation. Please take your time and complete your personal health evaluation thoroughly. Your evaluation will automatically be submitted directly to your Wellpath Doctor. This important step assures you that your time at Wellpath Clinic will be customized to your needs. This information is confidential.

In our attempt to be environmentally conscious, we have limited the use of paper required by our online system. If for any reason you find this difficult to comply with, please call and we will walk you through the process of accessing your online health evaluation.

The Day Before Your Wellpath Clinic Appointment

The day before your scheduled visit to Wellpath Clinic, you will receive a call from the Wellpath team to clarify any questions or concerns you may have and confirm if any preparation is required for your appointment.

Your First Wellpath Clinic Appointment
Expected length of time: Approximately 1 hr

Your first visit will consist of a review and further questioning of your extensive health history. This is done in order to best understand the unique aspects that contribute to your present state of health. We will also evaluate your present concerns and future goals. A physical exam and laboratory evaluation is usually required to create a thorough understanding of your health.

PLEASE NOTE: Regarding Laboratory Testing
If you have a copy of your most recent laboratory testing we will request that you kindly provide a copy or the contact information of your healthcare provider.

At the end of your first visit you will likely receive a requisition form to be taken to the lab. We will provide you with specific information of how to prepare and locations from which you can choose.

Following this appointment, we will review and research your case in order to develop a personalized wellness plan that is specific to your needs.

  • Review of submitted health evaluation and further investigation if necessary
  • Physical Exam including vitals, height and weight
  • Identification of wellness goals and obstacles to date
  • Time for any further questions or concerns that you may have
  • Blood work
  • Urinalysis

Your Second Wellpath Clinic Appointment
Expected Length of time: 45 minutes

During your second visit to Wellpath Clinic, we discuss options for care and decide together which are best for you. At Wellpath Clinic, we believe it is important that you feel empowered to make decisions about your health and wellbeing.

At the end of your appointment, we will also schedule additional appointments for any in-clinic treatments that may be required as part of your treatment plan.

Your Follow-Up Wellpath Clinic Appointments
Expected Length of time: 30 minutes

Follow-up visits are scheduled to monitor your progress and, if necessary, to modify your plan of care. As you regain a sense of vitality, our visits will focus on health maintenance through the development of a personalized sustainable prevention plan.

The frequency of your visits will depend on the pace of your progress, the type of treatments you chose and the amount of support you need to implement your plan of care.
